- Rajiv Lochan Temple was constructed in the 7th century AD by Nala dynasty ruler King Vilasatunga, as recorded on stone inscriptions inside the temple. Situated at the Triveni Sangam (confluence of Mahanadi, Pairi, and Sondur rivers) in Rajim, it stands on twelve carved stone pillars. Rajim is known as the 'Prayag of Chhattisgarh'.

- Rajiv Lochan Temple enshrines Lord Vishnu as 'Rajiv Lochan' ('Lotus-eyed Lord') holding conch, discus, mace, and lotus in black stone. Situated at the holy Triveni Sangam, it hosts the annual Rajim Kumbh Mela (Rajim Maghi Pununi festival) drawing saints and pilgrims across India. The 7th-century pillar carvings feature sculptured incarnations of Vishnu.
