- Jagannath Temple in Ranchi was built on December 25, 1691 AD by King Ani Nath Shahdeo of the Nagvanshi dynasty. Modeled directly on the famous Jagannath Temple of Puri, it was built atop a small hillock in Jagannathpur. The temple was restored in 1990 after a structural portion collapsed.
