- Vishalakshi Temple is located at Mir Ghat near the holy Ganges River in Varanasi. Mentioned in the Kashi Khanda of the Skanda Purana, the ancient site was restored in 1971 by Tamil South Indian devotees with a traditional Dravidian Gopuram. It forms an essential triad with Kashi Vishwanath.
