- The Sun Temple at Bundu near Ranchi was constructed in the late 20th century under the guidance of local cultural trusts. Situated along the Ranchi-Tata National Highway, the modern architectural monument was designed in the shape of a grand solar chariot. It has become a landmark tourism destination in Jharkhand.

- Bundu Sun Temple is constructed in the form of a giant chariot featuring 18 wheels pulled by seven lifelike sculpted horses carrying the Sun God. The temple complex includes a natural pond and serene manicured gardens. It is a key gathering center for Chhath Puja celebrations.
