- Bhoramdeo Temple was constructed in 1089 AD by Nagavanshi King Gopal Deva in Kawardha. Carved out of stone in the Nagar architectural style, it displays striking similarities to the Sun Temple at Konark and Khajuraho temples. It is set against the Maikal hill range surrounded by lakes.

- Bhoramdeo Temple is celebrated as the 'Khajuraho of Chhattisgarh' due to its exquisite erotic stone sculptures, celestial musicians, and dancing figures decorating the outer walls.
