"Salutations to Shiva and Shakti — ever in the freshness of new youth, holding bodies that are locked in each other's embrace; to the daughter of the king of mountains and the one whose banner bears the bull — salutations again and again to Shankara and Parvati."
The stotra opens with a salutation to Shiva and Parvati in their eternal youth — embracing each other, the daughter of the mountain-king and the lord with the bull banner.
Uma Maheshwara Stotram celebrates the inseparable union of Shiva and Shakti — Purusha and Prakriti, awareness and energy, the still and the dynamic. Each verse is a meditation on their divine togetherness. This path teaches you to chant, understand, and embody this vision of wholeness.
