Brahma Sutra
Brahma Sutra
The Brahma Sūtra, attributed to Bādarāyaṇa, is a concise philosophical text systematizing the teachings of the Upanishads. It investigates Brahman, the individual self, creation, bondage, liberation, and the relationship between ultimate reality and the world. Written in aphoristic sūtra style, it became the foundation for Vedānta schools, including Advaita, Viśiṣṭādvaita, and Dvaita, each interpreting its dense statements through major commentaries.
